Julia Christman
Veterinarian
My path to veterinary medicine grew naturally out of a life surrounded by animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, horses, goats, and chickens, and from an early age, the human animal bond played a meaningful role in my life. That connection ultimately led me to pursue veterinary medicine, where I could support both pets and the people who love them. I earned my veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania and bring that foundation into every aspect of my work.
When I walk into an exam room, my priority is making sure owners feel heard and that all of their concerns are addressed. I believe that strong communication and trust are essential to good medicine, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable asking questions and participating in their pet’s care. Supporting that bond between people and their pets is what makes this work so fulfilling for me.
Outside of the hospital, my world revolves around the relationships that keep me grounded. My dog Otter is my built-in best friend and constant companion, joining me at work every day and sharing so many chapters of my life alongside me. I also enjoy spending time with my husband Cole, my son Jay, and unwinding at the beach whenever I can. Those quiet moments of balance and connection shape who I am, both personally and professionally.
